CatGenie Units are highly appreciated for their innovative Whoosh feature, which customers love for its automatic litter box cleaning. The product is also praised for improving cats' litter box cleaning habits. While the unit itself is well-liked, feedback on the scent is mixed, with some users enjoying it and others noting occasional bad smells.

"Cats initially had the cat genie and an automatic clumping litter box. They were not using the cat genie. I removed the top to see if that made a difference and then went for broke. Got rid of the other box. Now both are using the cat genie. I was right about the dome. Big cats with peculiar pooping style."
"If your cats can transition to it i highly recommend. Our 4 boys i couldn't keep up with 5 litter boxes every week this has been a game change. I currently have 3 set up and plan to put a 4th on up shortly"
"This thing is amazing. We have multiple rescue cats and all but 1 was an adult when we got them so they don't share a litterbox well. This has nearly eliminated all of the issues we were having. Highly recommend!"
"My cat was afraid of it at first but after a while she got used to it. we have now had our Cat Genie AI for about 3 years and would never go back. This has been the best investment for making owning cats easy. we have only had to take it apart fully once to keep it functional and that was just to deep clean it."
"I have the cat genie AI and I can not imagine having a cat and not having this device. I never handle litter or daily scooping and smell! My cat genie washes, dries and keeps the place clean like it should be. For me, no other device compares."
"I was super Skeptical about this product however i am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised it works just as described cats had no issue transitioning and we have Maine coons so big cats i call it our cat toilet because that's the way it works cats go to the bathroom it washes dries and deodorizes itself simply amazing product getting ready to buy another one the only item we purchased an couldn't use was the cover"
"the Whoosh is a great improvement over the CatGenie A. I. the cats like it more, the cycles are shorter, and it uses alot less electricity."
"We've had our whoosh unit for a couple months now and so far there's absolutely zero complaints! Some of our cats have taken to it immediately but some are still choosing the regular litter boxes first. But I assume in time they'll come around. It's a little loud when it runs it's cleaning cycle but I'm really not bothered by it. It's well worth it to not have to scoop or empty or anything!"
"I live that I do not have to scoop. I love that I do m ot have to empty a drawer. I have both, the original and the Whoosh"
"No kidding guys and gals! We’ve had every litter concoction on the market & nothing beats the Cat Genie. No mess, no smell! Cleans itself including the rake that other devices leave filthy. Totally grinds and dissolves the waste, washes and rinses until spotless, then blows the beads dry. Guaranteed gentlemen, no dry heaves ever! Ever lasting relief, your done with litter forever!"
